Catching Light, Crafting Meaning – The Story of LunaLumen
In every ray of sunlight, there’s a story waiting to be told.
When LunaLumen began, it wasn’t just about making something beautiful — it was about creating something that felt beautiful. Pieces that didn’t just hang in a window, but caught the light of someone’s life, their memories, their hopes, and reflected them back.
I’ve always believed that the things we bring into our space should hold meaning. A crystal sun catcher isn’t just glass and wire — it’s energy. It’s a reminder. It’s a silent little cheerleader hanging quietly in your home, scattering light in ways you don’t expect.
Every LunaLumen piece starts with a feeling. Sometimes it’s the memory of a person, sometimes it’s a season in my life, sometimes it’s just the pull of a crystal that “needs” to be in my hands. The beads are chosen for their symbolism, the charms for their story, the design for the energy it’s meant to bring.
The name LunaLumen is a nod to light in all its forms — the moon’s gentle glow, the sun’s radiant beams, and the inner light we all carry. My hope is that when someone hangs one of my creations, they feel that spark. Maybe it reminds them of someone they love. Maybe it inspires them to pause and take a breath. Maybe it just makes them smile when the rainbows spill across the wall.
Over time, LunaLumen has grown into more than just a small business — it’s become a little community of light catchers and light sharers. People tell me the stories behind their orders, and I get to weave those stories into a tangible keepsake. It’s an honour I’ll never take for granted.
So, here’s to catching the light — not just in prisms and crystals, but in moments, in people, in life. Thank you for letting me share mine with you.
With light & love,
Ainsleigh 🌙✨
